Reserve some land on our new Survival Server

As a lot of you are aware by now we are launching a brand new Survival server which will for a time (Few weeks, maybe a few months) live alongside our current Survival server. The new one is our 2012 and beyond Survival server and will eventually take over completely from our current one.

The new server is really really fantastic. We have spent a long time (iRand, Rick and Cupa especially) building a new spawn area with a lot of features users have wanted such as Air Ships to take you to different Biomes, Admin shops with unlimited quantities of items to buy (with the in-game currency) and for the first time on our Survival servers, a border which expands over time automatically.

The new server is of course using the latest Minecraft 1.2.4 and the land that has been generated looks gorgeous it is full of beautiful and varied biomes including the new Jungle zones. We have setup air ships at the spawn which you can use to travel to any Biome you wish including Snowy, Jungle, Desert, Mountainous, River and the Nether.

To help you get started on our new server we are going to let you reserve some land here and now. To do that simply navigate to this page: http://map.renmx.com:3358/ take a screenshot of the map and then draw on the map in your favorite image editor the piece of land you want, afterwards post it here in this thread. A member of staff will then review your selection and decide if you can take that piece of land or not. Please do not circle land already selected by another user in this thread.

And no you do not need to do this to be able to build on the new survival server this is just a perk we are providing you before the server launches (which it will do very soon) so you can get the piece of land you really want. This is optional, you don't need to do this, you can still just roam around once the server launches and setup your home anywhere you want.

The server does have Towny installed and players are welcome to create towns. Any town that has 10 Citizens will be able to get a portal from the spawn city allowing yourself and your Citizens to instantly teleport to/from your town/city and the Spawn City. This is handled via air ships which will be installed at your Town/City once you have the 10 Citizens and request the portal from a member of staff.

So post away and we hope to see you all in-game very soon. Remember don't reserve too much land, just enough. Don't be greedy or your reservation will be rejected

You may have that island Tupo - And yes it is outside the border as you are aware so you'll need to wait a little while for the border to be expanded but I don't think you'll be waiting long.

Jehovajones your request has been accepted. You have selected some land just outside the border, but the border will be increased the day we open by 500 blocks which will make the lower island in your selection fully accessible to you.
