How did you get in this server?

Well, I get invited by Alex. I didn't remember where did I heard of it but yeah. I started playing since 1.8.1

In September 2010 I was a member of a server called Godcraft. In the middle of that month I went on holiday with my wife (at that time girlfriend) and when we came back Godcraft had deleted their map and all my stuff was gone.

This made me pretty pissed off that all the stuff I made had been erased. This server was only Survival too so everything me and bieb built together took a really long time. Because of this I quit Minecraft.

Then a month later I looked in to how to run a Minecraft server. I'd never run before so I read up on it and it looked simple enough so I got a copy and turned it on. Then I gave bieb the IP Address and he came on and put TNT everywhere and blew the shit out of the spawn.

I reset the map then started to build a proper spawn area. The next day it was relatively finished and I made a thread on the Minecraft forums so people could come and play.

And the rest is history. Had godcraft not erased the map I never would have started a server of my own but I'm very glad that I did as it has turned out really great.

I took a programming class and the teacher didnt know what the hell she was talking about so the guy sitting next to me, to those of you who remember him you know him as Ginn, gave me a pirated version of minecraft. I loved the creativeness and he and I would play all the time in that class. He then bought the full version back when it was Alpha 1.1.8 (like $5 US back then lol) and he looked for a server to join.

He told me he joined this server called Renegades and let me play on his account for a bit. I thought creative server play was amazing so i put my own $5 towards the game and joined. Been here through thick and thin and loved every minute of it. I wish Ginn still played though lol.

Don't ya mean 2010?

At the beginning of october 2010, I had decided I had had enough of not knowing what this blocky phenomenon that was sweeping the internet was and downloaded a pirated copy of minecraft. I played this for 2 weeks and was finding it incredible fun. I decided I was enjoying it enough that I should buy it, it only seemed like a small project so I felt I was putting my money to a good cause.
Soon after purchasing I decided it was time to try out multiplayer. I went on 2 non-whitelist servers for a total duration of about 20 minutes and thought multiplayer was a pile of crap.

I then stumbled across minecraft forums server listings and clicked on one of the first servers I could see that didn't have very many replies. I pictured it would be easier to be white-listed on a server with less replies then xD. It was renegades. At first I was rather shy and never involved myself in the conversation but I soon became part of the community (I hoped). I made it to moderator after sometime and then around Christmas time became an Admin.

I have gone through many stages of not playing so much but have always come back for more and will probably continue to do so.

I'd been hearing about mine craft for a few months, the odd reference on forums ect, After seeing a few videos on you tube ,and liking what I saw there, I brought it in early march of 2011. Soon after browsing planet mine craft I found a small server Called light city. Sadly soon after they ran out of money and the server shut down, after from flitting from server to server ,each got shut down or majorly greifed, I eventually found Renegades advertised on PlanetMinecraft, I applied and within 20 min I was logging in and here I am...

I played on a server called BoxKraft (It's named MultiVerse now, and I think you all have heard me complain about it...) and I really enjoyed that server... until the staff became douches and the owner added a bunch of crappy plugins. So I got on IRC and went to #minecraft and asked if anyone got a cool server running. Luckily Skorup (Lilskorupski) was on the channel and told me about Renegades. He told me to go to #renegades and soon after that I joined the server.

So if it wasn't because of BoxKraft got sh!tty or because of Skorup being in #minecraft that very moment, I wouldn't have found this server. Ever.

I joined this server about 5 months or more ago. I'm very glad I'm a part of this community and can be a part of the staff.

Around 2009-2010(cant remember exact) a friend om mine bought me a copy of minecraft and told me to play it, at the beginning it was the worst game i have ever played. Block-graphics wtf?? But then i started to play it more and bang, i was trapped like everyone else First i mostly played survival, just building and living, but i wanted other people to see my creations too, so i started to look for good servers. First i just went around randomly and joining servers to see what they was like.

My buildings and resources was often stolen and destroyed, wich made me look for servers with more security than the rest. Luckily, Alex(my IRL friend as well) played minecraft and literally forced me to join. After a while playing i thought this server was awesome, with nice people playing and a big staff of moderators. I think im going to stay on this server a long time

Alex tried to convince me to play Minecraft again after BoxKraft went to shit.

He bugged me for days, though one day I thought it would be funny to get back at him.
So I joined the IRC channel to see what you guys were up to, Alex greeted me and told lilskorupski to whitelist me.

"You shouldn't prejudge the worth or value of something, by its outward appearance alone."

I got on, teleported to Alex. Alex at the time, was chopping wood for some reason. I jumped down the mountain he stood on and noticed that I didn't take any damage from falling.
The date was the 23rd of June, 2011.

Alex made me help him with his mansion (it was supposed to be a recreation of Luigi's Mansion, not a hotel you pricks.)
So, he took me on a tour around his mansion, let's just say I was in awe... as I couldn't build that well back then. ANNNDD THHEEEN, I had the idea of a new Puppytown. (not the one in the Survival server, but the abandoned one in the creative server.) We had recently left BoxKraft (we built the original Puppytown on there.)

While Alex continued building on his mansion, I thought it would be funny to explore a little.
I went to the back of his mansion and saw a HUGE wall, curious as I was, I went over there.
When I finally got to the wall, I started searching for a way in. As far as I knew, there was no entrance... so I dug a hole... and the rest is history!

When I got past the wall, I was delirious to see that it was a city, even better, it was The Grove.
I wandered around the city for a while, admiring the architecture those damned aesthetics.
I had enough, and teleported back to Alex.

Alex had called upon the almighty moderator; lilskorupski, to use his almighty powers of the voxel to summon new land! I thought this was amazing and asked someone what plugin it was, that 'someone' told me that it was 'VoxelSniper', a great terraforming tool. I also asked someone if there was a way to gain access to VoxelSniper, sadly. There was none.

Later on however, Pri added Architect and Apprentice, but that is a whole other story.
