1.networking
Within school computers, or any firewalled device, there is usually restrictions such as blocked websites.
To bypass these filters you need something called a "proxy " it privatizes your browsing on the internet and it unlocks all the websites.
There are websites for these but in most cases they are blocked. So you need a proxy cllient, an ideal client that mostly always morks is called UltraSurf, google it and download it.
After this you can launch the program and browse whatever you like.
2.Internal files and folders
Say you play minecraft on the computer, you want your savegame before you leave right? But upon trying to access the appdata folder you see its denying your access, well to bypass this and other folders, you navigate to your desktop and right click, press "create shortcut" complete the on-screen instructions and put the folder directory in the shortcuts reference location. Double click said shortcut and your folder should appear.
2a. Command prompt
Whenever you try to use the cmd executable within a windows platform, its usually blocked. To "unblock it" or basically duplicate it; you create a standard .txt file on your desktop, launch it, edit it, type in "command.com" press file, SAVE AS, type command.cmd, after this press save as all filetypes. Once this is done you can launch it and do stupid pointless things.

There's one thing I've always wondered: how to bypass the school restrictions and install java.

For that you need to download the.iso image "ophcrack" burn it to a disk and follow the included instructions and when you boot from the computers BIOS, go to launch from cd or something. It will then boot a linux based kernel. A computer password cracker will then show up. Do what it says and it will crack every users passcode. Find the admins account and use his/her passcode to give yourself admin privledges.
There is ways to burn it to a flash drive, therefore google is your friend.

Re: Bypass School firewalls and security
The easiest way to bypass firewalls is to use HotspotShield. Your school/office might have blocked hotspotshield.com so you can't get it on the spot, so you will have to download it at home.
The only downside is that there is a forced banner ad when its activated. AdBlock should remove it though.

With command prompt you can make urself admin and stuff, just open it and type "net" options will come up, I'm not doing it because I'd rather not lose computer privileges.

Re: Bypass School firewalls and security
That won't work, most districts are smart enough to block those commands from even working.
Even if command prompt is disabled its fairly easy to get it back, just make a new text file with the words command.com inside it, name it cmd.cmd and save it as all files. But the net commands will not work unless you are an administrator.

The district should have known better than to lock out a child with an adventurous mind.
