Connecting Towns Mega Project

This is nice, i would suggest creating some form of hub in the center after completion, such that multiple 'bridges' could connect to the same bridge. What i mean by this is that another town (say mine) who is not connected to the bridge, but wanted to. Well they could build a bridge in their own style and everything, then they can start in their town, and connect it to the 'hub'. this would also reduce the need, or eliminate, multiple bridges leading to spawn, and provides inter-connectivity in a way.
Also, it would be a nice project that every town, or most every town, could do.

Agreed. Maybe the spawn point can be the place the main hub.
We can talk to the admins to somehow let the roads from different places connect.
If we have an awesome road system that starts out as North, South, East, West from the spawn and as it goes it will keep branching off.

I need permission from Leviathan and Campfire
The Road just passed by two towns.

And I already passed by Leviathan. But the Road kept a 100 block distance from Leviathan. And I was wondering if anyone from Leviathan want me to build a train station inside the town boundaries or outside the boundaries or don't want one. If so. Please give me a place inside the town to build a train station And I can build the road that leads into Leviathan.

I've made it to Campfire. But If anyone from Campfire can see this. If I can make the road come in very close to Campfire. Like comming into very close contact to the town or have the 100-block distance with one exit road leading to it. I'm also asking Campfire if they'd also give me a space to build a train station if they want one or not.

Almost Done.

I have only 800 Blocks to go.
The Road to The Aleckto Republic will be finished by this weekend.

I need massive help placing Rails for the Railway Line.

The road is usable but it is not safe yet. I want to put in Dark Oak Wood Stairs on the edges for barriers. Mobs still spawn all over the road. Remember that this road's purpose is for horse riding rather then walking.


I will have more info when finished.

Another Proposal
I was looking at the map again. I see a vision of another road/rail line going south and ending at Hartsburg. Maybe that unfinished Brooklyn Bridge can lead somewhere. lol
Honestly, I don't think I will be building this road. Maybe I'd help. But If any of you people want to build it be my guest ;D

Trans-Aleckto Road Grand Opening

The Road from Spawn to Aleckto Republic has been completed. Except there is a few final touches need to be done, but in all...
It is complete.

Spawn to Aleckto:
By Fast Horse - 24min
By Running - 90min
By Rail - 37min

I want this to be beneficial to everybody.
I urge people to build towns along the road.

Build Shops/Malls along the road is something you can also do. ex. Food Stands, Horse Vending Machines, Horse Products, Weapons etc...

I have spent about R10,000+ Building this, If you were to build something on the road I'd appreciate if you donated some money ;D

Other Rules
*On The Railroad, I will put a train station stop when your town has 3+ people.
*Any town/store/shop can have its own exit-ramp.
*You can claim land for your shop/mall/town if it touches or covers the road its totally fine.

Also. I ask that you build south of the yellow line.


And Try to have some space between at least 200 Blocks away from each other.

Tips
*You/your horse can go over-board over land or over sea. Please bring some dirt or cobble stone to make sure you have a way to get back up.
*Be alert of every curve/sharp turn so you don't fall off.
*On Rail its F***ING annoying when there is an animal/mob blocking and you bounce back. Bring a good sword.
*On Road too bring a sword.
*Bring Food.
*If you accidentally break a rail please put it back.

How to Use Railway
Note: Before you use the railway, You might have to bring a minecart of your own if they have none.

First: Press the Button on the Blue Wool to dispence minecart.

If they are no minecarts please right click into the dispenser and place the one you brang.

GET IN

Second: Press the other Button on the other side to go when you are ready.


You are now on your way.

A Stop/Junction is the same thing this is how you go thru it.

First: You will come to a complete halt. You have to look at the signs very closely.


Second: Use the switch to go left or right according to the signs.



Third: Press the Button on the side of you to go.


Usually these junctions happen when you are at stops one will usually say to continue on and the other one will say go into the station.

Once your at the station your minecart will be destroyed by the cactus and instantly recycled for the next user to depart.


And THATS how you use the Railway.
