Buying a laptop

So i've been thinking of buying a new laptop, soemthing that can run games well. Since i don't really know anything about computers, i decided to ask here. my budget is around 700$ CAD give or or take.
i was suggested this before:

it needs to atleast be able to run league smoothly with settings on high

The NVIDIA GeForce GT 840M is too slow for that. Try to get a laptop that has a GTX 960m minimum.

Laptops don't make good gaming systems and they cost 2x as much as a desktop with the same performance.

Time to save up :)
