Many of ranked users are popular in our community because they talk, chat a lot and you can see them in every corner. Some people doesn't get any attention because they either: inactive, banned, or does not chat too much.
That's because Slurpie822 focuses on his college life and at the same time working on unique city project Apricus. Its sandstone/nether mixed theme, crowded buildings, and uncommon building location caught the eye of the few but massive amount of effort has put in there.
Who are you? When did you join RenMX?
A college student in Indiana, about to graduate in the Spring (finally!). Joined RenMX with jbrier because the server we used to play on was unreliable and we wanted a stable, friendly community that we could freely and comfortably build in.
What do you enjoy the most in our server?
The friendliness of the people, the variety of builds, and how active the staff are in making the server a better place!
What types of creations do you like to create?
I like to pick a theme then try to stick with it throughout a build. I've always liked trying to put together towns.
How do you plan before you create?
I usually don't plan. I pick an idea of what basic structure I want to build. from there I start placing blocks, then make (numerous) changes until the build feels right.
Do you have any tips for us to craft better creations?
Don't be afraid to experiment! Worst that can happen is that you have to remove the block(s) and try again!
Any projects we look forward to?
Apricus has been the ongoing project between jbrier and I since joining RenMX. Maybe we'll finish it.... Maybe...
If you're going to implement a feature for RenMX, what would it be?
I'm never good at these things! I'm a pretty easy-to-please, simple guy and usually just work with what I have. RenMX is a great community as it stands, and I'm sure it'll only get better in the future.
What's your feedback about our community?
Like I said before, RenMX is very friendly, open, welcoming, etc.. I haven't been very active in the past few months--my classes were eating up a lot of my time--but being able to hop on every once in a while to speak to a few familiar names is great!
