Logging on to the Server

I'm having a problem logging into the server for some reason. It might have something to do with the update but my fellow friend PawsUnBeef said he had got on just fine. Where I have RenMX listed as one of my servers it says it is pinging and has an X through the connection bars. I would really like to get back on.

BTW: The other servers work just fine and my internet is in working condition!

Are u playing in 1.7.2 if u are the server is 1.6.4 and u need to got back to it

i have a Mac so its easy but i would click the edit profile when u open Minecraft then when it says version got from 1.7.2 to 1.6.4
