Could have just been a bad moment, maybe internet was slow or the server might have been restarting. It should not be forever

Might be a slow reply but you get bad login if you log on to Minecraft on 2 places.
For example: You log on to Minecraft in the browser, and then proceed to log on to Minecraft in the client.
You are now logged on 2 places. Your browser Minecraft will then say "failed to log in: bad login" as the client overwrites the browsers login details(?)
So when you get this problem simply restart your game
