End Farm Issue

Fri Mar 01, 2013 3:35 am

So today CSBurri and I were playing, and he brought to my attention that something had happened to my Enderman farm. I went to the home I set there to find this:

It's not gone, though. I then realized that it was move slightly, but that's no real problem. This is the entrance:

If you can't see the sign it says "Private Property". I did not put that sign up. I then went inside and I could tell that many people used it:

Nothing was griefed, I'm just a little disappointed that so many people used it, and not one person asked for permission to use or make changes to it. The only people who I knew were using it were jackerdelta and Psico45. And before anyone says that I didn't make the farm, I did have chests in there that were clearly privatized by me, and they are no longer there now. There also was a sign on the door at one point. I'm not sure what happened here but I'd like something to be done about this, I am not particularly happy.

Yeah I don't really know that dirt platform is where I wound up when I did /home end. And I forgot to mention that at that
time last night I couldn't use log block to see who did what. The bedrock and pickaxe didn't do anything and I couldn't use /lb commands. My main goal of this is to ask people to get my permission when they want to do something to the setup because I didn't know that anything was happening and I'm pretty sure at least one or two people making changes knew it was mine. People using it without permission is less of a concern to me than people making changes.

it was moved by rick considering so many people came there and invited their friends. pure slayer had a chest with a whole bunch of items so I just put my sign on that chest until he logged on so I could give him his stuff back. Also somebody claimed your endergen as a town outpost and when I unclaimed it all the signs went flying which is the absence of the sign on the front. Logblock was removed from the server to add a better anti-grief plugin titled "prism". and finally I'm pretty sure I asked you if it was cool if I used the endergen and you said it was.

Prism is currently down for an hour so pri can check something. after it comes back I will check who placed the "Private Property" Sign. Sorry for any problems you have had.

EDIT: It seem's rick placed the sign. Probably to show that its Private.

I was also pretty upset to see so many people were using it because it beats the whole fucking purpose. I am aware that he built it himself because I saw him when he was doing it. Also I had rolled back a guy who had griefed that place which had angered me. IMO there shouldn't really be anyone there that Jayman personally didnt invite.

I told you days ago that I moved it Jayman. the final straw was when somebody tried to make it an outpost of their own town. Then unclaimed it which in turn made all of the signs fall off and all of the redstone up the top disappear. I had to spend quite some time fixing this by hand because at the time we were using logblock which didn't repair redstone properly.

The front door was relocked but I placed the lock sign on the block under the door to hide it. it is locked to you and psico. People have still been breaking into it since I moved it to avoid the issue with peoples past set homes which I cannot delete.

I think it started with a few invited people like bandwithman/andronomos, but I think they started inviting their own people and then those people in turn invited more people and it escalated out of control and I had to deal with it.

I guess I was afk or something when you told me Rick, I apologize. Thank you for moving it and fixing it. I originally though that other people had done shit to it. I didn't realize that things are now the way they are as a result of fixing said shit. Thanks mac and Rick. :) You guys and Psico can use it when you want.
