Any music creators in here?
So, recently a friend of mine has been introducing me to FL studio 10, i have been trying to create techno based music for a while but i still need practice. Now, some of you could be a jack of all trades and if thats the case some help would be appreciated.

If you like Fruity Loops you might want to get a copy of Reason too. It's another music suite that is quite good.
Also check out lynda.com for video guides on how to use this stuff.

Re: Any music creators in here?
Fruity loops is shit. (Edit: this is my personal opinion, but really, it is more of a beginner thing.)
Reason is good, cause everything is included (drums, synths, really everything). However, i find Reason to be a bit difficult to use, but that may be due to the fact i am very, very used to ableton.
Which brings me tooooooooooooo
Ableton.
I suggest trying this. Its not hard at all to get used to, and there are tons of tutorials out there (try youtube searching TornadoTwins ableton tutorial, it will help a lot). And with ableton, you have a SHET ton of included stuff. I can get you a torrent link to it sometime, or you can find it (search ableton 8 suite)
Then someday, when you get good, you could try cubase. Tons of big artists use this (flux pavilion, doctor p, a lot of others which im guessing you wont know)
But really, try ableton. Good luck
let me hear if you make anything! I have about 6 songs in the making, but i always get interrupted before i can do much :/
But seeing as how this is my dream (truly), i cant just give up, now can i?

I don't use any of the preset items in Fruity Loops, i make my own beats and sounds using Nexus 2, Sylenth1 and other VSTs.
Oh and Vengeance Essentials 3 is the shit.
