watchlist and settings questions

On the Renmx.com site in my Watchlist tab I have added certain Shows/movies I am interested in following. They don't all appear on this list. I type in a show name in the search area [top right] and it either says it has been added, but does not show or it adds it again.
Can someone please explain how this Watchlist works?

In the Settings tab, I have checked the box next to

Have your Watchlist appear automatically as you enter the room

. This does not happen.
Is there something else I must do for this to work?
