Back around late 2012 early 2013 it was not unusual to only find 0 to 2 players logged on at the quiet periods and 8-15 players at our daily peaks.
Now things are different. Our quiet periods are 6-8 players and our peaks 33+ players. Our daily average, the mean between all 24 hours is about 25-30 players online concurrently.

You need to combine the Staff + Players to get the total peaks for each day. But the good news is that over time the minimum peaks have been rising. We're reaching a consistency.
It's a similar story on our website. Every year the daily traffic to our homepage increased massively.
I have stats beginning in January 2011 to current and well the numbers are pretty huge.
2011: 3,151 Total Views
2012: 6,146 Total Views
2013: 15,122 Total Views
2014: 38,283 Total Views
2015: 27,420 Total Views (So far, only 2 months)
Already in 2015 we're on course to receive 329,000 unique views to our website. That's pretty incredible. We're only two months in and we're setting daily, weekly and monthly records.
On Feb 21st 2015 we had a huge amount of views, the highest ever for our homepage with 671 unique views. The previous best was in September 2014 with 500 or so.
So I'm really incredibly happy with the growth we're seeing. I don't have any aspirations to become some huge server with hundreds of players online but I do want to raise our minimums so that there is always around 30 players online.
To try and accomplish that I have been advertising the server at different times when players we don't usually attract are awake. I've also been making the server more welcoming to new comers by adding our wiki.renmx.com page, join.renmx.com page, adding the /biome feature, re-doing the spawn maze, refining our rules, and enabling the mining of cards. I think these initiatives are paying off big time.
And of course to drive more traffic to the website I went on a posting spree in 2014. There were 221 posts made in 2014 compared to just 6 in 2012 and 39 in 2013. This huge increase in posts has been one of the main drivers in the site actually being read on a daily basis by many of you. So far 44 posts have been made this year, at this pace we'll probably end up with around 264 posts this year.
