I created this thread because I want to eventually make a city and any information divulged here would be helpful for others who want to become City Planers+. I honestly don't know much about building cities or how they function because I don't go out much and i also don't play sim city or city skylines. So if you guys have something to contribute, please do reply.

In the center of the city, Typically there's a few skyscrapers, business buildings, 1-2 hotels, some kind of building that makes the city stand out. On the edge of the city, probably some town homes or houses, stores, churches, and public services.

I may have missed something,but that is what I expect inside a city.

Main City Buildings -

City Hall
Police Station
Fire Station
Hospital
Hotel
Gas Stations
Mini Marts
Restaurants
Visitor Center
Apartments
Business Center (Usually consist of 4 blocks)
Docks (Depends if ur near water)
Shipyard
Food Store
Mall
Art Gallery
Historical Buildings
Library
Court House
Jail

Dont forget sewers and water and utils

and the brothels and strip clubs
