yep, I'm using the same subject as Crazy. I can access which site I want with no problem in my school, but I can't access Minecraft or IRC servers. I've allowed java and xchat in my windows firewall, but that doesn't seem to do much. Anyone know what might be the problem and what I can do to solve it?

yea i have no idea how to unblock dat shizzle.

you could buy a wifi hotspot...then to make up for the cost you could charge people to use it. surely there would be other people wanting unblocked wifi.

You shouldn't enter private info (such as passwords) on public networks. :)

Buy a hotspot? Just tether from your phone if you have free 3G/LTE if possible. There are several "Wireless Tether" apps available on Android, but I don't know if such apps exist for iOS.

Probably not possible if you have an old phone, or if you can't bring your phone to wherever you need your WiFi.

It is most likely blocked under the category games (depending on how strict your school is). I would NOT recommend using a proxy to bypass since that is traceable and may look suspicious.
