HALP

After startup, my computer (Windows Vista) freezes except the mouse and sound... HALP

I should've been more descriptive XD
So it freezes about 5-15 minutes after startup.
I have an HP computer model p6152f(discontinued)

Looks like a reasonably ok setup.
Is there anything you have done differently over the last few weeks that could have prompted this?
Anything you have downloaded from sites you haven't used before?
