i know im the last person you want to hear from but... you still kickin? anyone got an update on the status of pri?

I'm still here. My treatment is progressing, I have chemo every 10 days right now.

I had to close my business down I got too sick to continue it and couldn't find anyone to take over in my absence.

The treatment is tough, the cancer continued to spread with my previous treatment which was once every 21 days so I've had a change in my cycle and hopefully things will improve.

Ancient thread but, how's it going now?

Been over a year since I last posted an update in this thread. I'm still having treatment although my chemo cocktail has changed a few times over the past year.

I'm still having regular treatment and I'm also on vitamin supplements now and immune boosters. As of my last scan which was a while ago the treatment was working and the cancer showed no new sites and the ones I had were reduced. My blood tests are also showing improvement especially since I've been on the vitamins and immune boosters.

I'm still waiting for another scan date and appointments upon appointments. It's a marathon and not a race after all.

Today has been one of the hardest days I've had in recent memory. I felt alone and defensive, I had an argument with a friend, I had treatment. Just a real low point.

I've felt like I'm on the edge of tears today many times. Being upbeat all the time is really difficult and sometimes like today it comes at me how long this journey has been and how long there is still to go. Sometimes I think it will never end and it sends me into a bad place.

I just felt like getting it out. Tomorrows another day.
