Well, I have decided I am not going to buy sleeved cables but am infact going to sleeve them myself using paracord.

I am gonna go for either red and black together:

or buy some individual red and individual black cables and kinda go stripey:

http://www.hunterscampingandbushcraft.c ... lack-50ft/

It is super cheap and I have seen people do really great stuff with it inside their cases.

I am considering going for a GTX 670 as it fits more in my price range than a HD 7950.
Any opinions/knowledge on how it stacks up to other GPUs?

The GTX 670 is the only high end GPU worth purchasing. See graph:

The mobo I was planning to get seems to have rocketed from £170 to £240 everywhere. I like the specs of a lot of the Asus £150-£200 boards but they are all SO BLUE! (I would rather red or all black).

Ideas on where to go from here?

Main things I want:
-Not blue.
-Nice bios.

I did see this but kinda feel bad going mATX with such a massive case and I would feel really limited on the PCI front.

The sound on that board is top notch. As good as any of the current sound cards on the market. So that will save you a PCIe slot. And you can do SLI or Crossfire on that board.

Personally in my own builds I never have any expansion cards installed except for graphics. If you're anything like me in that regard I don't see the mATX form factor as being a limiter for you. It's a great board has amazing features and the best EFI GUI of any manufacturer.

Your only real alternative for a Black and Red board apart from Asus is EVGA but you'll probably be looking at even higher costs there and their EFI implementation isn't as good.

Ok cool, I wonder if there is anything I can do with the abundance of free space if I did go for it. I think I would rather a small red/black board over a big blue thing.

I did re-consider the Sabertooth but that armor is pretty repulsive when you look carefully.

About to order my stuff from Scan, Aria and SpecialTech. The cooling kit I am going for doesn't include and fluid. Can you recommend or advise what I should be looking for, there seem to like 10 different types. UV, non-UV etc and stuff.

Get a fluid that looks nice. Personally I use the EK Fluids they are well made. Mayhems fluids are also known to be quite good. The UV fluids are kind of a waste of money as the UV part of the fluid dissipates pretty fast.

Is your blood red a light red or a more deep red? I'm in a throw up between red, black or clear. Red is off the list if the EK blood red is too light.
