RAMPAGE III

The Idea:
To build a new epic looking system one that matches the parts I have inside the system. I've had my old case since 2008 and its expansion options and cable routing features are limited. It is time to update to a case that can hold all the components I'll want to install in the future and offer the radiator space to cool all my future upgrades without needing to use external heat exchangers like I use currently.

Computing Components:
1x Corsair 900D Case
1x Intel Core i7 3930K CPU
1x Asus RAMPAGE IV Extreme Motherboard
2x EVGA NVIDIA GTX 780
1x Corsair AX1200 PSU + Red Cable Braids
8x Mushkin 4GB 1866MHz RAM (32GB Total)
2x Corsair Neutron GTX 120GB SSD's
1x Samsung 840 Pro 120GB SSD
1x Samsung 2TB Hard Disk
1x NZXT 10 Channel Fan Controller
3x Dell 30" Displays (2x 3007WFP-HC & 1x 3008WFP)
8x Corsair SP120 Fans (Quiet Edition, High Air Pressure)
3x Corsair AF140 Fans (Quiet Edition)

Water Cooling Components:
1x EK CPU Block (EK-Supreme LTX)
2x EK GPU Block (LC-Titan)
2x EK GPU Back Plate (LC-Titan)
2x EK 480mm Radiators (EK-CoolStream PE 480 Quads)
1x EK reservoir (EK-D5 Vario X-RES 140)
1x EK D5 Pump (EK-D5 Vario X-RES Model)
12x Monsoon Straight Fittings in Matte Black
4x Monsoon 45 Degree Fittings in Matte Black
4x Monsoon 90 Degree Fittings in Matte Black
1x EK Blood Red Coolant

Water Loop Diagram:
So you're probably wondering just how is this all going to come together and fit into this case? Well this is how the loop is going to be, you wont be able to see all of the tubes (marked in white) as some will be hidden around the back of the case out of sight. Only the tubes I actually want seen will be seen. The red boxes are fans, the orange boxes are Radiators the green boxes are GPU Blocks and the CPU Block, the blue box is the water reservoir and the purple block is the pump.

I cannot wait to get this build underway. A lot of the items I'll be using are out of stock right now including the EK Radiators the NZXT Fan Controller and some of the Corsair Fans (due to needing so many). So the build may not actually start for a little while but this is my project log so this will continue on until the build is finished.

Haha, run on blood oh you :P

It will be running on blood yes. My case and Corsair Fans arrive tomorrow, got a killer deal from Amazon on those. My other stuff however is being held up because the NZXT Fan Controller and the EK Radiators are not in stock but I have already paid for those so as soon as they are in the rest of my parts will be arriving.

I'm excited, this is the first build I've done where I feel like I got every single part I wanted I didn't cut any corners to save some money. On my previous builds I went with cheaper barbs (those are the connectors that the tubing goes in to) and I was never really happy with them but I didn't want to spend £150-200 on good barbs. This time around I thought, fuck it, I'm just going to get exactly what I want and although they've cost me a shit load (£150) these monsoon fittings are stunningly beautiful.

I cannot wait to put it altogether :)

Just this upgrade, $1493 USD / £910 GBP. (This includes the two GTX 780 Waterblocks I got last year but never used until now)

Kinda reminds me of this one:

I love colour themed computers, especially in red and blue.
