Yes iNook, it is absoloutely every bit a beast. I can literally play every game I own completely maxed out to the hilt. GTAV, Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Everything.

It OC's like a beast too. It comes at 1.5GHz and boosts to 1911MHz on water without me doing anything to it at all, no adjustments of any kind. Then when I do OC I can hit 2.1GHz without touching voltage, just setting a clock offset and increasing the maximum power target from 100% to 105%.

The card is epic. On air I was getting 85c load in games, with waterblock I'm getting 36-42c depending on how hot my office is @ 2.1GHz. Incredibly impressive.

I bought some new monitors. Got rid of my 30" and I've moved to 27" monitors with razer-thin bezels.

Looks nice I think. Here are the new monitors.

Left: Dell U2717D = 2560x1440 60Hz IPS
Center: Asus PG279Q = 2560x1440 165Hz IPS with G-Sync
Right: Dell U2718Q = 3840x2160 60Hz IPS

I picked these monitors based on what I needed them for. The center monitor is the one I game on, I wanted G-Sync and the high refresh rate but I also wanted IPS. I had the previous Swift PG278Q which used a TN panel and just looked like shit. The PG279Q is a big step up in picture quality, it looks frankly incredible and the 165Hz is indescribable.

Windows doesn't handle 4K very well so I decided not to wait for the Asus 4K 144Hz Swift. I'm really happy with my decision to go with the PG279Q. As for my far right display, that is a Dell 4K IPS panel which will be used exclusively with my Laptop which runs macOS. Macs have excellent support for 4K and 5K displays. Absolutely no issues of any kind so I decided to go 4K there.

Finally the 2.5K monitor on the left, that has identical design to the 4K Dell so they match symmetrically. But I only need it really for viewing live CCTV footage so I didn't feel the need to go 4K there just for that. I saved a lot of money going that way but still get those impossibly thin 4mm bezels.

So that's my office upgrade done. I'm still moving some wires around and things but yeah, really happy with these panels, the 4K especially looks stunning on my Mac with Videos and Images really popping and the G-Sync on the Swift is like a window into the future of gaming I feel like everyone should have an adaptive refresh display and also a high refresh rate, games feel so much more life like without the tearing and the increased motion fluidity that the 165Hz this display brings.

Hope you enjoy the setup photo, Rick requested one :)
