Mozino
One of many interesting recent users this year is this player who loves Skyblock (also Survival) Mozino. His hands crafted if not many, good floating creations. He is also a tree lover. also he's from reddit.
Who are you? When did you join RenMX?
I'm Mozino and I joined RenMX in February 2015.
What do you enjoy the most in our server?
Probably the community, the mix of people and ideas that they bring to the server keeps it feeling fresh every day and there's always someone building something different. Also the shop is just awesome, without it I doubt I would have been able to build the things I have done, at least not in the short time I have been here.
What types of creations do you like to create?
I like to make things that mix natural and unnatural or that twist natural things in unexpected ways. Also, the things I build have a habit of being bigger than I intended them to be.
How do you plan before you create?
Usually before building anything big like a town, I will keep a piece of paper and pen near me while I build up resources, just so I can write down any ideas I might want to include. Then I'll make a list of the ideas I like the sound of and start drawing out some rough sketches of where I want major buildings/terrain features to be and their scale in relation to each other. I generally don't use creative to plan except maybe when I want to see what the height/width ratio of something big will be, like for towers or walls.
Do you have any tips for us to craft better creations?
I try not to think about limitations or how long something will take to build or gather materials for. For making round things, circles or curve sections, I find www.plotz.co.uk really useful. Also, stop dreaming, start building.
Any projects we look forward to?
Currently just trying to get Nimbus in a state where we can start to invite people to live there. Currently the rate of new ideas for it is still greater than the rate we can build them but we're getting there
If you're going to implement a feature for RenMX, what would it be?
Have an allowed teleport list a player can set that means the players on the list can teleport to you without you needing to /tpaccept. Make teleporting to a town in your nation free.
What's your feedback about our community?
I love the mix of people and their different play styles, from massive builders, to Rennie tycoons, to redstone wizards. The ideas they bring and with the server being relatively small, you feel like you're actually part of something. When you're placing your 40,000th leaf block it's great to have people around to encourage you to keep going. The staff have always been helpful to me and they have way more patience than I could ever dream of having. I hope I get to stay here for a very long time <3
