strange events?

my freind supersputnik wintnessed some strange events regarding my horse and his wolves............erlier this morning, he came online to hear the sound of lightning and see his dogs on fire, and the leads on my and his horses gone......
mabye its a greifer, mabye this is natural, please help.

btw: if this is in the wrong forum sorry.

also, the lead to my horse keeps dissapearing.

Leads disappearing is a bug, thats all. As for the lightning I have no idea.

What I would recommend to avoid losing so many leads is to basically make a barn to keep the horses safe, and take the lead with you. That's what I've done in order to stop losing leads.

Much like Db said as for the lightning I have no idea. Are your animals all alright?

the wolves were near dead, but there fine now. I still don't get how the lightning got through a house..... maybe that's a bug aswell.. thanks for the idea of the barn, I will be sure to do that.

No Problem, just be sure to add an at least 4-5 block high roof that way you can ride them out

Use meat to heal your pups, even zombie meat. That helps them heal
