Re: Artist application.
Nice, you're the first Artist applicant and we'll see if you'll get passed.
1. Uniqueness - How original is your art? Is it created somewhere else?
5 = I give you a 5 out of 10 because there are some Steve-like statues on this server and other but hey, The chair looks quite unique so it's pretty decent for an Artist applicant like you. None other than you can make Steve sits in a chair. :]
2. Likeness - Does it actually look like the thing you're recreating?
5 = So you're trying to create a black Steve sitting on a chair. The arms look like it's missing something. It's okay though his head is okay too.
Protip: You could try how a man rest his arms. It's okay without putting outline between arm and chest.
3. Detail - How detailed is your art?
5 - Not much detailed for Steve sitting on a chair. A decent, box-shaped Steve. I must expect a more detailed Steve next time. No, I'm not saying it's bad, it's quite good for a pixel artist. Therefore, you should detail it way better as I expected.
4. Scale - The larger your art is, the better!
6 - That legs and long chair. I'll give you 6 for a little big statue.
Summing up the scores. 5 + 5 + 5 + 6 = 21 points out of 40. You have 8 points away from your target rank (Artist = 30 points) and maybe better improve the statue more as in real Steve sitting on a chair so you'll accomplish your target rank and be the first Artist. While you have Apprentice rank, you can enjoy it for a while and re-apply if you're ready.
Remember, try and try until you succeed.
