Project Name: Outpost Observation Station

How do we get there?: spg town outpost

Brief Description: An observation post for relaxing by the sea and studying the complex mating habits of the giant squid. The lava lamp in the middle serves for decoration, lighting the lobby and a public execution spot for griefers and zombie sympathizers ("They're just hungry like us," my ass). The glass bottom is for squid observation, the lobby for storage and bunking lost seafarers, the main floor is for sleeping, studying, and meetings, and the top is a garden to relax and can be used in the event of mass destruction for growing food.

Anything we might miss when we see it in game?: I don't think so.

Id give it a 5. I have seen something similar to this.

Beauty?:
4 the downstairs looks quite boring same with the upper part just stone isnt that kind of thing that you want to be looking at.

Execution?:
This also recieves a 4. The room COULD be bigger and the down stairs is Pretty empty.

Size?:
This recives a 3 its not Really small but isn't that big.

I think none of us wanted to rate it because we knew by the screenshot alone that it wouldn't score high enough to get a rank up. Sorry to Conan for that.

Beyond just throwing things up to make it through survival mode on ssp this is the first thing I've built on any scale - just a scaled up model of that first house I built that's been griefed a couple times, so the criticism is fine and helpful. I started MC for mining and survival but I have got a bit of the building bug after looking around and seeing what is possible, especially with the new spawn point.

I started a new build on creative before this but it follows IRandom's advice so that makes me feel better.

I like the looks of the supports and the juxtaposition of the circle and square. Alot of it is kind of proof of concept playing with the lava fountain and lining up the supports with the circle floor as well as just making a circular structure out of square blocks - beginner stuff I know but I'm a beginner! Just lining everything up was a challenge at this point.

Thanks again for the advice - it is being incorporated into the creative mode build.
