I'm getting a little bit ahead of myself here, but hopefully its not too big of a deal if i enter this application BEFORE i build my thing.
It'll take a lil while, but once i enter this i have no excuse, so it will get me off my ass.

I'm applying for: Engineer

Project Name: Dice

How do we get there?: (You gots to wait for me to make it foist!)

Brief Description: A 3-bit binary output "4-piece clock" randomising dice with a nine segment display.
3-bit binary gives 8 results, so there is a loop feed to re-activate the system when 7 or 8 is chosen, which choses again, until 1 - 6 is chosen.

Uniqueness: 8/10
There certainly are no other dice on the server.

Ambition: 3/10
It's not really that ambitious, just a random number generator behind a dice face.

Execution: 4/10
Doesn't seem to work correctly, and I'm not really sure what the dice face is even telling me. I'd recommend using logblock with glowstone switches instead of pistons to make it more clear.

Scale: 5/10
It's not very big.

You did not earn Engineer this time. Perhaps if the dice was integrated in to a game it would be better and if the dice face was made clearer so we knew exactly what the number it was reporting was then it would get a higher score. Ambition is very important when it comes to the engineer rank and I don't consider a random number generator that ambitious as that is usually a core component in many complicated redstone components and what you've done is basically take a core part that isn't really thought about and made it the whole design. For that I can't really rate it as highly ambitious.

I would have given you Apprentice because you scored higher than 15 but because you're a contest winner you already have everything that Apprentices have + Voxel Sniper (which they don't) so I'll leave your rank as it is

Okay, so i have edited my submission greatly.

It has now become a Ludo board game.
It has the (now fully working) dice, and a current player indicator.

I couldnt use the powered glowstone as a dice face, because in my tests i couldnt get a 2x2 block of soul sand to power into glowstone while remaining in a wall.
