I would like the ability to set more homes. You could tie it to rank:

User 1 home
Apprentice 3 homes
Architect 5/6 homes

This way you can have supplies stored at a primary location while you are doing a build on another part of the map.

This is an interesting idea. I think at the very least we should give it a trial run and see how it goes.

But yeah, i think its a great idea.

When we allowed this sort of thing before (private warps) it was abused by minecats who would enter a persons home, set a warp then come back later when the user had logged off and ransack their unprotected chests. They also used this to kill players who would hide in their houses.

For this reason I don't think it is a good idea and I'd prefer if it was limited to one home to one user to discourage abuse. Once the Minecats leave I'll reconsider it.

Thank you Pri. I understand your concerns and I take that as your final say on the matter. I would like to add one more thought, though, with no expectation of response:

If you did make such a change and then made the behavior you referred to a ban-able offense you could, theoretically, weed out those who would engage in such behaviors much faster. I know you lost a lot of good players in the past and I've seen their frustrations through the chat over lost work and items so I completely understand where you are coming from even though I missed most of it.

Just something to think about as you work on hardware issues and clean up baby vomit.

I still don't understand why minecats exist. But thats another story...
