Can I get unbanned?

My minecraft username is Sealeopy.
I was banned for griefing.
I think I should be unbanned because I had no idea we couldn't grief. And even if I did know, I would have thought it wasn't griefing because the land wasn't claimed. I understand what I did was wrong. I'll never do it again. Can you please give me a second chance?
I didn't mean to do any harm. Please unban me... Please...

Also this is my favorite server. I am literally crying right now. I am so sad.. I worked really hard on my build and I don't know if it's gone now or not! I'm so scared that I'll have to start over.

Just a tip, when doing ban appeals, don't Private Message the server owner begging to be unbanned. That just annoys me.
Sam banned you, you'll need to wait for his decision on this ban.
