Reason for being banned:
'massive griefing of riven's lc project'

Appeal Statement:
First and foremost, I'd like to point out 3 simple facts.
1. Myself and mkdagger1111 made 100% that we did not break a single block. The only blocks we place/broke were two gravel towers near the edge to get on top.
2. We did take diamond tools from a chest, however the chest WAS unprotected, and no deadbolt sign could be found. I'm aware of the server rule stating that this is not a ban-worthy offense, as we did not break a single block to obtain passage to the chest.
3. We have put an extreme amount of time, effort, and R into the server, through our massive undertaking in the extreme southeast, a project named Grand Mesa. We meant absolutely no harm by any of our actions, and if there is some way for us to replace the tools we took, we'd be more than happy to do so.
Thank you for your time and consideration, as I know this is a time consuming process.

i care not for the tools, those chests were left unlocked on purpose

griefing does not mean just breaking blocks. building or breaking your way into places also count as griefing. and furthermore you did not just build 2 towers, it took me almost 40 mins of flying around my build rolling back stuff you did and i have the logs to prove it.

and finially our rules state you have to post your own ban appeals, your friend has to post one for themselves

in the interest of fairness however, another staff member will decide on this.

The gravel area where the ocean used to take place is managed by Riven085. He's been working in that area for several months to apply for Legendary Crafter (highest build rank). The recent outpost nearby that area belongs to your town GrandMesa. He may be allowing anyone to get the gravel but not the ones that obviously look like built by a player which is considered griefing.

Well if I be the one decide for you to play again, this will be your last chance. If someone else ever witnessed you griefing your way to steal unprotected chests (which is allowed), you'll no longer have a privilege to play our server again.

IgnusDiablos will be unbanned. In case of mkdagger1111, He has to post his own appeal.

It is extremely hard though due to the area being so big,unclaimed and most not built on. Also the build look he is going for does make it look abandoned. I can see why this may have happened. I do suggest you claim some of the area just so people know or maybe place up signs. It is a whole Biome.

i have signs and fences placed around about 1/3 of it and random signs spred throughout.
its only been an issue twice before and both times people moved when politlely asked.

the main issue isnt the outpost, it is the rather large amount of grief i had to clean up on my island itself. it doesnt matter if it "looks" abandoned. griefing is griefing

If they took gravel from the biome you're terraforming then I don't think they should be banned for it. Neither do I think they should be banned for building there.

The reason I say this is because the land is so vast in size and looks "natural" in that it could be misconstrued as being generated by our server for some reason using a mod or plugin for a custom biome. It doesn't look like it was built by hand.

If however they came to your build within the biome and built towers on your build or took blocks from your build that would be different.

I like Stephanie would advise you Riven to protect that whole biome with a town. If you don't want to do that then I can create a WorldGuard region there. Please reply and detail exactly how and where these guys griefed, was it actually on your build within the terraformed biome or just within the vast gravel area. Thanks.

the main issue isnt the outpost, it is the rather large amount of grief i had to clean up on my island itself.

specificly speaking 2 towers built to get up to the island, various bits of dirt and stone removed from various parts of the island as well as various other bits. there were parts i didnt even find untill i rolled back everything they did. as you know its a large build and impossible to check every single block, so i ended up having to rollback areas and
multiple times i would get "29 items found and rolled back" or various other amounts.
took me over an hour going with a 25 block radius and then i went over it again in 100 block radius to be sure

like i said earlier it hasnt been a serious issue before and its not even a serious issue now.
they griefed, got banned, appealed and were given their 1 unban
which is all withing normal operating procedure

i know before we talked about world guarding it when i was done and i think thats still prob the best idea. cant make a city there though because im currently part of Pandora, i could leave i suppose but like i said earlier, hasnt really been an issue

Okay. I've unbanned mkdagger1111 and IgnusDiablos was already unbanned by Freakboy.

Boys, please do not touch other peoples builds. Making towers underneath his flying island to get on top is pushing the boundaries of what's acceptable when it comes to meddling with other peoples things. It's not much different to making a tower up against someones build to jump over their walls.

I will worldguard this area when I get time.

Thank you for unbanning us, we honestly have no malicious intents and didn't when we were exploring the empty ocean. I'd also like to thank you all for your time and consideration with the matter, extended from myself and mkdagger1111.

On the topic of world guard, would our outpost then be removed? We only placed it there as an oak, birch and spruce forest meet in the same area, and we searched the world map for quite a while to find it. There's only 1 town block protected by the actual outpost, and it serves mostly as a teleport. If it's still accessible, Riven feel free to farm wood there, my only request being that you would replace saplings once you're finished.
