ill give you credit for not disputing the ban reason, however you loose points because you "didn't know" griefing was wrong, despite the fact its in all the rules including the rule book all players start with in their inventory

Gameplay rules clearly states:

No griefing
Griefing Includes placing, breaking or modifying blocks in another persons builds. This also includes making a hole in someones wall to gain entry and then replacing the block afterwards. This also applies to taking blocks from reverting towns!
