Can't login to survival using any IP add I've been given. If I use 1.6.2 then apparently I have and outdated client and if I use 1.7.2 then I just see 'Logging in' indefinitely. Any clues

Well, how I see it there are three possibilities. One is that you are banned. Two is that mojang servers were messed up at the time. And finally, the server is 1.6.4, not 1.7.2 or 1.6.2 (unless there was an update I wasn't aware of). So I'd suggest trying 1.6.4, if that doesn't work check with staff if you are banned, if not then idk. Somebody else might though, good luck.

Well actually banned is most likely out of the picture since you didn't get the message for it, check 2 and 3.
