Is it just me? or does it seem like there is a missive gap between apprentice and architect. i just want to know what do you all think should there be a rank added? maybe one that is in the middle of the 2, becouse it seems like a massive gap i just wanted to know if im the only one that thinks this?

i'm fine with the way it is actually. I like to think of higher ranks as exponentially harder to get. You just have to work a little harder and build something big, pretty, and practical for the purpose you want it to fulfill.

Personally I like the rank progression as it is but honestly we couldn't add another rank between Apprentice and Architect/Engineer/Artist even if we wanted to because we've run out of colours to use.

Really, looking at the perks of the different ranks, the only thing that would be different between Apprentice and Architect is that you would probably keep the the same permissions for Apprentice and just have a new title. I think it's just unnecessary, what we have is good.

Yes it is important to restrict damaging tools like Voxel Sniper and WorldEdit to the best builders who can prove they aren't going to use them to grief. To date we've only had I think 2 people who ever griefed purposefully (not through an accident) with the tools and I don't want to increase that rate.

Not to mention that you would expect the player to only further better himself in making greater builds. The Steps between apprentice and architect should be a great one because greater builds would be the better deal.

And if we add any further ranks we run the risk of over saturating the server with them which devalues the sense of achievement when getting a Covented harder rank.
