Claimed land for outpost, do not have permission to edit?

Well, the subject says it all. I claimed a desert basin for my outpost, but a majority of the land in it is uneditable. It's probably because of its proximity to Falcon's Reach (the mountain is within view), but it's good land and I don't want my outpost payment to go to waste. Can an admin look into this and perhaps free up this area for me?
