Name:
apuff123 once again on behalf of a friend who is named madaadam0
Reason for being banned:
There was a beacon in the middle of no-where and he decided to start taking the beacon, but as soon as he took the first block, he was banned.
Appeal Statement:
He feels as though he was bated into taking the beacon, and getting banned. Since he was new to the server he didn't fully know the rules and since the beacon was no where near anything else of anyone's he thought it was just a free beacon.
I sincerely apologize for the two incidents in the past two days. Myself and my friends fully understand the rules and the punishments for them now, and nothing will happen again.
Happy New Year,
apuff123

Re: Unban Appeal 2.0
I'm getting real tired of these half ass appeals. Everyone knows what griefing is, you take something that belongs to someone else without their permission, that's griefing.
That beacon was put there on purpose to catch people like your friend who did not read our rules. How much clearer can the rules be? When you first join you're told to visit http://rules.renmx.com to see the full rule list. Then you're told inside the spawn maze, do not grief. It even explains what we consider griefing. As you exit the maze it again tells you to visit http://rules.renmx.com and you're also given a book which again contains our rules. When you leave any area from /warp travel it again tells you, no griefing.
I mean how much clearer can we make it? And none of your friends seem to give a shit, they won't even make their own unban threads.
Appeal denied. If your friend really wants to get unbanned then tell him to make his own forum account and write his own appeal.

Re: Unban Appeal 2.0
I was trying to be nice and I already had an account so I figured I would just do it for them. And "half ass?" really?
what do you want me to do beg and give you a bunch of crap like "please unban him sir, we will never ever ever do it again.?" I was just trying to have some fun with some friends. It is really awesome that you bait people to break the rules. Why don't you just let them do it and then punish them? It is a real dick move to try and "catch them red-handed." Dude, it's just a game. My advice to you mein fuhrer is : (a) don't be so salty (b) loosen up a little and have fun every now and then (c) and don't be such a hole and maybe you would have more than 20 people on your server at a time, because it has potential.

Re: Unban Appeal 2.0
We have the honeypots to catch griefers because it works. It keeps loser friends like yours who refuse to read off our server.
It takes lots of time from our staff to keep rolling back grief. Honeypots are a way to catch griefers before they start dismantling player builds. It clearly says in our rules several times, do not touch things that you do not own. Beacons in the middle of builds are not naturally forming, they were placed there by players and then protected from being stolen.
Maybe if your friends could read they wouldn't keep getting banned and you wouldn't need to keep switching servers. Now due to you comparing me to adolf hitler you're now banned too.
And for your information, I quite like the server being the size it is. If I wanted to make some 250+ player server I'd just start fleecing kids with paid perks disguised as "donations" like all those other shitty servers do.
To play on our server it is completely free and to rise up through our ranks it requires hard work, intelligence and patience. Something very few children have these days. I'm proud of our players and the community we've created over the past four years, we're not some fly-by-night shady server that just popped up to make a quick buck, we're one of the longest running Minecraft servers in existence and for good reason.
