1-chunk empty towny plot stopping me from building.

Recently me and Volvonovic were given permission by jra to build on a mushroom island that was empty (aside from a funbox). The problem is that in the middle of the island, there is a one chunk Towny plot that has not been touched at all. I was wondering if someone could delete the plot so we can continue building on the island.

It's most likely an outpost for a town. If the plot is towny claimed, you cannot build there.

Don't claim land within 100 blocks of another town/outpost without permission

- If you do this and the player of the town/outpost you've built near decides they want your town/outpost gone you will be forced to unclaim it and move your town/outpost further away. If you do not comply a staff member will erase your town/outpost for you and you may be penalised.

Me and volvonovic were told by a moderator (Jra) that we had permission to build.

I clearly remember being asked if it was ok to take down the blocks that had be left behind by the fun box. However i was NEVER asked about perm to build in that area by any players.

Then it seems there has been a misunderstanding. I don't remember the chat very well, so you are probably better off asking Volvonovic. If we do have to leave the island, then I will (and I'm sure Volvonovic will as well) attempt to revert all changes made as best we can.

If you could tell me what town that has it claimed I might be able to work something out so both parties are happy. Also so I would like to check the progress that was built there if possible.

**Note to Moderators** When giving permissions to players to take over any form of building structures please make a note of it in the staff forums under the correct post. This way we other staff knows they have been given permission to remove older builds and will not be banned for griefing**

It's claimed by ViceCity, talking to Jra and Hall earlier, we were going to leave it up to Dai.

Okay. If they have some decently large finished builds, I would be more then happy to move them to a better location. This way they wont lose any progress.

Last I was there, they had built the frame of their house, and had done some terraforming to the island.

We had indeed terraformed the island, but we would have built more buildings on it, but since it was being discussed whether or not we should have we thought it'd be best to not build anything else until confirmed if we could. WE did have big plans though, once we had the resources needed.
