Welcome to the thread for the new SMP Map.
Currently only select people are allowed on the map as we are currently setting things up but regular users will be able to access it some time after the release of 1.8.

We are currently looking for people to come up with ideas and maps to help us with crafting our continents and oceans. Links to these concepts can be found below under the name of the user that produced it.

I would really, REALLLY like to help but I'm not an expert with VS and I'm not a mod. Isn't there anything I can do? D:

i just need the login info sent to me via pm and ill log in and start, have an awesome idea for a water temple, and a fire temple.... still working on how to do a wind temple

Also, does anyone know why Pri/Vod doesn't wanna give me access to the SMP server? You've let all the other archs get a sneak peak, but Vod says I have to wait until the server is done and open. ;_;

Guys I was thinking. What if I just generate a water level and put that on the SMP then you build the continents instead of taking a normal map and blowing it up to create lots of water?

This would be faster and I feel would give a better end result closer to toms sketch (which btw I love)

Is there a way to import the spawn island to the new map? I think iran will blow up otherwise. lol

This is an awesome idea, but we might want to bring the small bit we have started to iRan doesn't flip his shit.
