Idea:
Starts out in a familiar enough place--abandoned mines--but soon you realize something else is going on. Hidden buttons, who would build such a place? Is this some kind of test?

And a bit of the redstone: each button is on a t flip flop, and after ending each section a pressure plate resets the puzzle behind for the next person. The last intersection leads to two portals, one to the nether and one to a series of glass tunnels through ocean ruins, and in each of those places you need to hit a button to open the exit. (A final pressure plate there closes the doors behind, and turns off the two magic buttons and their corresponding lights.)
