When I went to the arch server, no one was there but cbrown222 kept spamming the chat. Hax.

When I entered the arch server, no one was there. It was empty, but when I looked on the IRC channel it kept getting spammed. But no one was in the server.

That can happen sometimes if someone enters one of our game servers and spams a ton of text. Each time a msg from our game servers is sent to IRC it takes about 100ms to reach the IRC server. So if he sent like 50 messages in 100ms it would take several seconds for all the messages to finally arive thus creating a huge backlog of messages to be sent to the IRC.

We usually have a plugin that kicks users from our minecraft server when they begin spamming but as usual the 1.0 update fucks us in the ass once again and that plugin no longer works as I had to unload the mcbans plugin which also doesn't work.

I'm wishing we never upgraded to 1.0 until a recommended build was released. One of the worst decisions I ever made.
