iConomy

I am opening a Grocery Store soon, to sell food items and ingredients, I believe iRandomness is opening a Potion Shop of sorts, and a few other people have expressed interest in having the iConomy plugin back, or at least something like it, to make shops more viable. It is difficult to set a trade value for items in shops when there is no common currency. Also, some people have mentioned a way to setup chests as shops, I'm not sure if this is still possible or how many would be interested.

So obviously this post is directed at Pri to see if you can/will re-add iConomy or the chest shops, but equally this post is to see how many people are interested in having it back and will utilize it. There's not much point in having a plugin that only 2 people will use. Reply to this post or make it known in game that you're interested!

We will use Gold bars as currency. That is to be the official currency of the server.

Fair enough, at least now we have something set. This also leaves room for somewhat of a denomination:

9 Gold Nuggets = 1 Gold Ingot (Bar)
9 Gold Ingot = 1 Gold Block



An interesting fact for those that don't know:

Gold armor and tools may not be as strong as Diamond, but as of 1.9 prerelease ?, Gold armor and tools are able to receive stronger Enchantments than any other tools or armor.

I think that gold is too hard to come by unless if we spawn up a whole bunch. I agree with alex
