This spring-winter season, we've got a lot of new players and majority of them would likely to play here for several months! This great news hasn't only brought us new players but also the skilled and experienced from previous server. One of them is Gabis1027, who is aiming for Engineer rank with his complex contraption that only few (like Hall) would understand behind-the-scenes.
Who are you? When did you join RenMX?
-- My name is Gabriel*, gabis1027 in game. I joined RenMX on Dec. 9th of this year.
What do you enjoy the most in our server?
-- I have to say that the community is pretty awesome. As a person used to large servers, it was strange (in a good way) seeing people responding to my questions in a kind and timely fashion.
What types of creations do you like to create?
-- Just about anything that has to do with Redstone. I'm not called "The Redstone Maniac" for nothing.
How do you plan before you create?
-- There is very little (if any) planning that happens as I work on a project. I figure out just about everything on an as-needed basis. There's no point in wasting time coming up with a plan which gets discarded after twenty minutes, I say.
Do you have any tips for us to craft better creations?
-- Find a project that's outside of your comfort zone. Create something that you haven't created before, or improve something that you or someone else created, and get some constructive criticism from another redstoner. If you never allow yourself to explore, you'll never go any further. Oh, and never stop learning (I offer lessons for anyone, of any skill level from the very beginners to advanced redstoners. #ShamelessSelfAdvertising)!
Any projects we look forward to?
-- If you're a card game enthusiast, I'm sure you'll be happy to play a round of Casino Style Blackjack against a fully-functional computerized dealer. If you're not a fan of cards, then perhaps you'd like to try your luck at a round or two of Slots. I will be making other games as well, so stay tuned!
If you're going to implement a feature for RenMX, what would it be?
-- A nicer looking container lock, because, let's face it, all those deadbolt signs are butt-ugly.
What's your feedback about our community?
-- I really like RenMX so far. I think my time of Server Searching has finally ended.
