Mayor transfer

Ok so does anyone here know how to make another resident mayor because i sure don't know how to. Dadydeedo is deciding to make mayor and we don't know how to do this. If anyone knows please help. It'd help us out alot and i don't know what the mayor commands are.

The command to give your mayor status to another player is…
/town set mayor [player name]
just replace [player name] with the person you giving your town to
