I was just wondering if it would be OK if I would use a map mod while playing on the Renmx Server.

Yes, you can use a map mod. You are allowed to use clients mods as long as that does not give you an unfair advantage or exploits the game

Allowed - Map Mods, Custom Resource Pack etc
Not Allowed - Hacked Clients, X-Ray etc
