2014 Rank Overhaul Proposition

Pri and I have been discussing for some time the possibilities of overhauling our ranks system which would also mean consolidating the amount of ranks we have. There would no longer be a cap on the amount of Epic*/Legendary Crafter positions, these would be ranks you can continue to earn.
* Epic Crafter would no longer be called Epic Crafter, we feel the name Exalted Crafter is more interesting.
The new rank order:
Member
Skilled Crafter (30/40)
Exalted Crafter (35/40 - 10 in scale)
Legendary Crafter (40/40 - 10 in scale)
People on legacy ranks would be converted to the corresponding ranks shown in the image below.
Of course, this change is up to you, the community. I have created a poll for you to vote.

Well....
I've perfected my EC application last time, would I get Exalted Crafter or moving my rank to Legendary Crafter?
P.S. that reminds me of old Master Crafter rank back when I haven't joined.

I voted to keep the current rank system as I feel as an apprentice that my efforts for my apprentice build would have gone to waste even though I am currently working on my architect build. Also that the current system has better diversity which makes it easier to identify and differentiate certain skills/styles that one possesses such as ; a vast knowledge of redstone for engineer, doing extremely well detailed and breathtaking builds for EC/LC, the talent to edit together and make a video look well and enjoyable/interesting for director,the skill of replicating characters/items into 3D pixel art for artists etc.

Ah ok!
I have Pros and Cons for both rank systems, but it is up to you to vote. I vote none of the above/ follow the majority, it's the best choice I can choose.
Old Ranks
- Easily identified in the way ranks make players have particular purpose.
- Applying to rank up one by one is like any journey of a RenMX user.
- Variety of ranks, and colors!
- More hassle when we rate, especially we have to use other templates to rate it like Engineer and Director.
- Sometimes, players get confused with many ranks. They thought one of them has to do with Staff, but actually they're not.
2014 Ranks
- Less clutter, sorted like everything.
- Easily identified, in the way ranks make players more versatile.
- As a mod, less hassle on having to use rank templates.
- One rank comes all the previous abilities old ranks have.
- Less colors.
- Less variety.
- Decreased the feeling of accomplishments for only few ranks to apply on.

I vote no. Some players worked a lot harder to get EC ranks than the city planners and etc with other ranks. I think they should just stay put.

I voted no. There are differences between things such as Engineer, Artist, Director and Architect. Directors had no significant effort in building for that rank specifically because they have made a video, Artists make pixel art as appose to other builds, Engineers are redstone masters, and Architects are plain good at building.
Adrian also has a point; City Planner applications take a lot, but Epic Crafter applications take more. In a way, it's like taking lower class and putting it into upper class. Some "spent" (built) more, some "spent" less, and it may seem unfair to the upper class.
Of course I'm exaggerating a bit, either way they are good builds, but you get my point.
Also, people who build for things such as Apprentice, that work has gone to waste. It may upset them that it was for nothing, because they have merely become members again.

Yes. I believe that this system would focus on the BUILDING aspect of earning ranks. This system would force you to build something brilliant to be rewarded. The only thing I disagree with is the fact that all the Artist, Engineer, Director ranks should remain different but besides that, I say GO AHEAD WITH IT! And I also have to ask, why do we have to get a 10/10 scale for Exalted Crafter? We only need a 35/40 ....
