Testing with v1.7 has begun

I have begun testing our setup (Plugins etc) against the current 1.7 Development build. This is just the first step in upgrading us to 1.7 making sure our code works and keeping a log of any adjustments we may need to make.

We will not actually be upgrading until a stable 1.7 server is available from Spigot.

I'm just making this thread to let you all know that work is going on. I currently have a virtulised test environment setup on my desktop system which mimics our main servers but running 1.7.2 instead of 1.6.4.

Thanks :)

Testing update:

Me and rick did some extensive plugin evaluations against 1.7.2 today and we did identify a few plugins which are not compatible with 1.7.2. One of these plugins is very important and unfortunately will stop us from upgrading until it is compatible with 1.7.2, alternatively we may develop our own version of this plugin but we'll see what happens. I have already contacted the developer and I'm hopeful he will update his work.

Apart from this plugin not working everything else that matters does work and the current development build is quite stable. This is a good sign as it indicates a stable server may soon be coming.

Thank you for your continued patience.
