Plugin/Add in to the shop

I was thinking, because PVP has become a 'bit' out of control since Rambo_Nol, Hobo1955 and ExciteFame have joined (Not saying anything bad, just saying what PVP has become lol) that in the online shop you could maybe add a toggle PVP feature.

For example it could cost 200R to toggle PVP on and off ingame, and the privilege will be removed when you logout (much like the /fly) This way people that dont want to PVP and/or dont have enough money to create a town, or they just dont know how to can enjoy playing RenMX like most of us used to. Many new little towns have been created and this is beginning to clog up the map. It could be a bit had t make but I was just thinking that it would e able to balance PVP for un-experienced towny users.

The commands could be:

/PVP off

Lol "no offense", none taken im mostly desensitized. But to me sounds like another attempt at changing PvP somehow just because of fear. Besides that from a neutral standpoint, it seems very overpowered, and even if it were put in the game a full permission to PvP toggle till logout would need to be more. I'd speak highly against it though, could be very overpowered and would pretty much completely changed how the server is, and you would end up with things like PvP toggle wars for who could type better. The server is balanced already, it has a small PvP aspect to it for those who want to, or you can stay on claimed land if you don't like it. It's not expensive to claim new land to protect it if you want to anyways, 100r per vote and 1000r per referral.

You have a good point, but I feel that this would be better for people that want to build big and can't afford, you can vote and reffer, but people just dont read or pay attention. It would make it easier for not PVPers to build in peace without people coming to kill them. It isnt just you, hobo and Excite, but you 3 are the main ones. I simply arent scared, its just I hate see people rage, get themselves banned or just quit the server for silly reasons for being killed

Lol thanks Nor. I'd hate to see this turn into an argument, but people will learn to be aware as they play on the server. As for them quitting or getting themselves banned, anyone who would quit or break rules for a silly reason like that isn't any good for the server's community anyways. I never complained or broke rules when I joined and I'm pretty sure most known and active members didn't either. People need to learn to mature up, the world isn't going to baby them, who knows this could turn into a life lesson.

I have been thinking about the problems it could cause and I have a few solutions:

PVP Toggle wars: Can only use the command every so often

PVPing with potions: Immunity from bad potion effects when PVP is toggled off??

People camping until you log out then funboxing the area into a trap: One idk about lol

There will be more problems and I know that the server is a PVP server, but seeing people rage and spoil OTHERS fun on RenMX is really annoying. When some people are building and people are arguing (Rules 2 needs to be a bit more enforced I think) they get put off and end up joining one side of the arguments. I just want to stop bad on the server and make it an enjoyable place for everyone.

PvP camping and funboxxing can be harassment.

Use of the command every so often is smart, but overall i'd still say its overpowered, because then it can get stuck a way nobody likes.

Potions already do nothing in non PvP area lol.

A agree maybe a FEW rules could be more enforced, ones that keep the server more enjoyable as you said, like no arguing. It seems to be a forgotten rules. Some other rules could be more specific because I know for one, that there are many loopholes in them. As for the PvP plug in idea maybe there could be a buy god mode for a time limit that is expensive, but you can't PvP with it on, including any sort of potions. Maybe just a PvP immunity, but it would have to be expensive and I'd advise a time limit, not till logout, or else somebody will just stay logged in. Another idea if you want PvP limited could be the map only updates every once in a while so you can't find anyone anywhere at anytime. A third possibility is a previous idea I have seen before, buying insurance. This wouldn't only limit but also increase for those who like it, you could increase drop percentage of items but also add insurance to online shop to buy extra kept percentage until logout or death, which ever is first. It could be bought up to maybe only 5% or 0% lost if you want to use it to limit PvP, but it would need adjustments as new players would not be able to afford it. My last idea is that new players could have a time protection bonus on either PvP immunity (as stated before), or full item protection for a limited time on the server, like 1 or 2 hours. I hope these ideas helped

hmmmm good idea Rambo. Hopefully Pri will be able to take this into his magic and make the idea work, but the 200R price was just an example lol
I was thinking maybe at least 500R

If Pri sees this post, hopefully we will be able to enforce rules more, like specify 'harassment' and the 'arguing'

pvp toggle wars we already have /fly wars so this wont make a difference for the fly ambushers or somehow called "pvpers"? makes no senes to me when someone flies away like a jet and its called pvp, well i was getting off topic there but yeah wouldent make much of a difference
