Pay for Teleporting

When I teleported to Riverside, R10 was involuntarily taken from my balance. Although R10 is not much, I would like to advocate for a warning system before the teleport, or maybe after (and if you refuse to pay it would just take you back to your previous location).
Just to be clear here, I had no idea certain teleports had fines on them, I think it is a bit ridiculous to be honest. I don't even think the money goes into the mayor's balance, I think it just gets sucked away from you.

Really you just have to be online 10 minutes to get it back ,so i don't see the problem here ,lol

ya that's true, i just don't understand why certain teleports have a fee, i mean does minecraft have to be so realistic that you have to pay a toll?

It is good to help the town since the money taken away goes to the town being teleported to

That is what I figured after thinking about this for a bit of time, when I make my town I will probably have the fee set to R1 or R2, so I can cover daily upkeep (in addition to a tax of R1 or R2, depending on the amount of people). What is the command for setting the teleport fee?

The fee is 10r for a non-allied town, 5r for an allied town and 0r for your town. Theres your warning from now on :3.
