Recently I feel the PVP on the server has become unbalanced due to rampant use of splash potions to get around the lose items on death system so I've decided to rebalance PVP by making the following changes but before I do that I'm going to detail what happened previously and what happens now.
Previous system:
Death by natural causes (Lava, Falling, Suffocating, Killed by Mobs) = No loss of items, charged R5
Death by players using Bows, Tools, Swords, Thorn Enchanted Armor = No loss of items, charged R5
Death by Splash Potions (Harming, Fire etc) = You lost all items
New system:
Death by natural causes (Lava, Falling, Suffocating, Killed by Mobs) = No loss of items, no charge
Death by players using Bows, Tools, Swords, Thorn Enchanted Armor = 10% Loss of Items
Death by Splash Potions (Harming, Fire etc) = 10% Loss of Items
I feel this new system will rebalance PVP on our server lowering the reward curve for new users who don't yet have splash potions while keeping rewards for our current PVP'ers and I also feel that this will make PVP more fun for our existing PVP players as they can now use Swords and Bows to get rewards instead of just using easy-win potions. This also means you're guaranteed a reward every time you kill another player, 10% of their inventory could be an amazing item or their junk but you're always going to get something.
These changes to PVP are enabled as of this post.

I posted my thoughts on this on the previos thread where it is mentioned. I find this new application far and still good enough.

This levels playing field. Now we can splash-bomb transgressors with minimal guilt. Thanks, Pri.

Genius. Absolutely Genius. You've done justice on this day Pri. I predict the next update related to PvP (Except for balancing updates) to include PvP ranks

Good point. If possible, I think a tweak should be made that players drops heads even if they have money. If they get beheaded, the killer gets the head.

There is no money in play anymore. Head drop rates are the same as before.

Re: Changes to PVP and item loss on death
Alright, I thought when you killed someone, the head counts as their inventory, therefore not being dropped. Good to know this, now.
