Open to all users is a new plugin called Portable Horses. This plugin enables you to take a saddle off a horse and then the horse disappears when you right click the ground again with that saddle the horse reappears still wearing any armour it had on before.

The saddle will automatically be renamed when you remove it from a horse describing the kind of horse colour that it was so you know which horse is which in your inventory.

This means you can now teleport with your horses by taking their saddles with you to other places and it also means you can more easily sell horses with other players.

The saddles work just like any other item meaning you can store them in protected chests just like a normal saddle.

Indeed, I tried it out earlier, but once they have that saddle on them, it can't become a normal saddle again, can it?
I tried that and it doesn't work.

That's correct. But you can still sell the saddle on auctions I believe even with its enchantment and rename, of course the horse will be gone once you do that.

Tried it, my horse didn't reappear :/

Right click the ground with the saddle and it will re-appear.

Make sure you do it in an area where animals can spawn. If you do it at spawn you'll lose your horse and your saddle.
