Players! As most of you know this server features ranks. However perhaps not all of you know that those ranks come with particular perks. Now, aside from being assigned a title that denotes your hard work in this server by building, creating videos or donating, the ranks also feature perks. The purpose of this guide is to just list the perks that come with the ranks not to explain the ranks themselves.
A well written guide to our server ranks has already been written by one of our own, Freakboy31. Again, it is a well written guide that fully encompasses our server ranks and should be used as reference. That guide can be found here: Server Ranks!
It is also worth remarking that the higher your rank, the more perks. And if you had a perk as an apprentice, you will keep that perk along with the other perks that you might get along the way. In essence, the higher the rank, the more perks.
If you have any doubts when it comes to our rules, where to apply for a rank, where to donate, among others, you may visit this page that has a link to all possible questions on our servers. It has the links to the respective guides of information that is very useful to you the player! Check out the guide here!
Now as for the perks, they are the following starting from the basic ones to the more advanced ones:
Item Info:
To have this perk means that you can inspect the item that you are holding. Simply do /iteminfo while you are holding a specific item and it will display the information of set item. this is very useful when it comes to creating player shops through chests. It is best to know the specific item id. It can also help out when replacing or changing a block using World Edit.
Member:
To be a member, or rather to have the perk of being one, allows you to build in our creative server which otherwise you can't.
Fly:
This one goes without saying. To have this perk it means that you are allowed to fly. This is concentrated more on our survival server.
Weather:
To have the weather perk it means you can change the weather at will. This serves for purposes of helping you build. Whether it is that you want it to be sunny to build faster or rainy to test how a building looks, that is up to you. For example you can do /sun and the rain will stop.
Day:
To have the Day or Time perk means that you are able to control the time at will. If you want to set it to day or night, it is possible. For example if you wish to make it morning all you would need to do is type /day . If you want to be specific just type /time set 0 or any other interval that the game recognizes to be a time of day.
Hat:
To have the Hat perk means that you may set any particular block that you have in your hand as a hat. For example you could hold a piece of bedrock and do /hat and that piece of bedrock will now become your new hat, effectively covering your face with bedrock.
Block Measuring:
To have the perk of block measuring means that you are able to use the World Edit tool (//wand) and simply select a first and second block as you would normally and it will tell you the total blocks from position one to position two.
Build Exporting:
To have this perk means that you are able to export builds from your desired location to our creative server via a schematic. This is also using features of World edit that can facilitate greatly game play. A sample of this would be to copy a structure to the clipboard of World Edit and save the schematic, then go to our creative server, upload the schematic to the clipboard and paste the structure on your desired location.
World Edit:
To have the World Edit perk means that you have access to one of the most well known tools for large editing in minecraft. This will facilitate building and can help players greatly with desired structures saving time and effort. This tool contains a lot of different settings that are worth knowing. There is an ample selection of tutorials that are dedicated to the use of this tool that can be found online. There is also a small tutorial for some basic commands on this tool on the forums and can be found here.
Lite Sniper:
Lite Sniper, as defined by their own website is the "restricted versions of VoxelSniper's brush-set, chosen specifically to be an optimal teaching tool geared toward giving a user the full VoxelSniper tool". To have this perk means that you are on your way of using yet another well known tool in the minecraft world that facilitates building and enhances the player experience.
Full DisguiseCraft:
To have this perk means that you are able to disguise yourself as an item, mob or even player. This tool is great for directors that are looking to add a little extra to their videos, among other applications. A quick reference to this tool and it's commands can be found here.
Voxel Sniper:
To have this perk means that you are able to use Voxel Sniper's full edition. Meaning, you have access to all the brushes available and can edit at will with all the features this perk brings. An overview of voxel can be found here.
Needless to say none of these perks should be taken for granted or used lightly. While there are commands like /hat or /iteminfo that work particularly in just one item, tools like World Edit and Voxel Sniper are used for heavier duty builds and by no means should be abused.
I would highly recommend learning how to use these tools before trying to perform a particular command to edit a large portion of land. Having said this, I am not ruling out that mistakes may happen from time to time as we are humans and can have slip ups. However there is a great difference between not knowing anything about the tools and making a simple one click mistake. Knowledge is power and the better we understand these tools the better we can use them and truly show off our creativity.
I hope this guide helps you out on our servers and remember, above all, be nice and have fun!

Knowledge is key. And to be well educated in the subject can always help avoid incidents like that one. If people know how to use the tool and still a situation were to occur then there can be no doubt and no reason to appeal.

Not only Knowledge, but also Discipline. Discipline is when you use your Knowledge in a right situation.
More guides to come, psico. Keep up writing more until it's enough to fit in the library.
