Can't log in

Anyone else having problems logging in? I keep getting fail to log in java etc etc.

My Minecraft client freezes upon trying to enter the server. I'm not sure what's causing the problem.

Yeah that's what I'm getting! It takes long log in then fails. And i really wanna play today ..

I'm investigating now but it may be Mojangs servers. Give me a moment.
EDIT:// Okay I have determined the problem, it is indeed Mojangs servers they are offline. If you open your client you'll notice the "Play Online" button is now a "Play Offline" button.
No one will be able to play on any online servers until Mojangs authentication servers are working.

Well, I was able hit play online, but when I logged into a server, it just froze at the logging in. A message popped up saying "Servers are down!" So, yeah.

The "Servers are down!" message is from Mojang, not us. And when I tried I could not play online, only offline. But as of this post Mojangs servers are working again it would appear.
