Referrals and .. something else

I thought you guys may like to see a sneak peak of the forthcoming referrals system.

I hope to have a working version by tomorrow. I'm a bit tired now so I won't be finishing it today like I had planned. I have given some great thought to the way everything should work and I think I've got a great system. I'd like to just explain it quickly.

Your login from the shop (the 4 digit pass stuff etc) will automatically work on this page too so you don't need to login again.

To invite someone you simply put their name in and hit invite then tell them to login to the server. Within 1 to 5 minutes after they have logged in you both will be credited 1,000 Rickies. Neither of you need to visit the webpage this is automatic it just takes up-to 5 minutes.

On your referral page you will be able to view a live updating status window for the users you have invited that have not yet logged in to the game and those that have logged in to the game.

By default that three step guide in the screenshot is hidden, and you can also hide the invite logs for previous people you have added.

I hope everyone will enjoy this feature. I have something even bigger planned for July: Auctions. I got in touch with the developers behind the plugin Essentials and asked them to implement a feature I needed to make the auction house a reality. They have gone ahead and implemented the feature I needed which means the auction house is coming. This will be another tab inside the shop page where you can list items for auction and sale. Allowing other users to bid on and purchase your goods. I'm very excited about this and I can't wait to get started on it.

Simply enter the Minecraft username of the user you want to add. After they have logged in to the server for five minutes you will both be credited with 1,000 Rickies. The page is really neat because your referred users appear there in Pending and Processed areas and they move from one section to the other without even refreshing the page. It all happens live. Even adding users happens live.

FAQ:
Can I invite a friend who already plays on our server?
No.

Can multiple people invite the same person?
No.

Can I invite the same person multiple times?
No.

What happens if I put in an invalid Minecraft username?
Players that don't have Mojang premium accounts (For Minecraft use) cannot be added to the system, we use Minecrafts own API to determine valid accounts.

So far only Freakboy has referred someone. But it hasn't even been 24 hours yet

I imagine this will be a feature that will have pockets of activity now and then, not a daily use sort of service. But hey it's there and there is no doubt in my mind players will use it.

In my case, for example, I Invited someone new the other day before the system, but before that it had been months since someone I invited connected.
