Taken down our Tekkit advertisement.

I've decided to take down our Tekkit advertisement on the official Technipack forums because the volume of players is simply too high and the quality of these players has not been lets say.. high enough.
We have gained a lot of great players who are nice and build well but we have also gained a shit-load of griefers and due to the sheer amount of people coming through the small percent of griefers we see is magnified to such an extent that they outnumber our old casual traffic entirely leaving a wake of destruction everywhere they go.
Combine this with the fact no protection plugin works completely (LogBlock, LWC, Deadbolt, Lockette, Towny, Factions and even Worldguard don't work) I've decided the best course of action right now is to remove the advertisement and focus on our existing community. And of course we have gained a few players in the past 5 days through the ad which will stay (if they weren't banned for griefing already).
I hope this will help things and perhaps we can continue with building our Tekkit community by word of mouth instead of indiscriminate ads on forums that attract the drudges of Minecraft.
